I met Courtney back in 2014 at a Delight & Be retreat in Virginia. We had been friends on Facebook through the Delight group and when we met in person, we connected pretty much right away! I call her my sister from other parents. :)
Because she lived further down the East Coast we hadn't seen each other in a while, but kept in touch over the years. When she asked if I would travel from Maryland to North Carolina to photograph her wedding, I jumped at the chance! I mean, I kind of had to meet Asa to make sure he was a good guy for my friend Court. Hehe. ;) He is a great guy and I couldn't be more happier for the two of them!
My favorite things about Court & Asa's wedding day:
i. The wedding party! I had SO much fun hanging out with them most of the weekend. Definitely an easy-going and fun group to be around.
ii. Asa's wedding day details. (I mean, how cool are the Ronald Reagan socks that Court gave him for the wedding day?!)
iii. Court's Great-Grandma was the flower girl. She was the cutest ever.
iv. Their wedding reception was at a former train depot. It was one of the most unique venues I've photographed and I loved it!
