As you know by now, I'm Val. Most days I like to think that I'm a brunette version of Anne Shirley. (Where are my Anne of Green Gables fans?) I also like to think that I'm Greek, but let's be real...I'm only Greek at heart. I'm married to my favorite Italian (yes, he really does have Italian heritage and we have the last name to prove it), Matt, and we live in beautiful Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, with our identical twin girls.​

  I developed a passion for capturing love stories when I began photographing weddings in 2012. My photos have been described as "a bit of Heaven in photo form," which I think can translate to film-inspired and dreamy, which is always my goal.​
